MommiesCloset.Com is proud to launch our new Work At Home Moms resource site.  Being a stay at home mom has its challenges and striving to become a work at home mom adds to this.  We are putting together a work at home moms resource to help you in finding the best work at home job or work at home business that is right for you.

Although we primarely cater to Work At Home Moms, this site is designed for anyone interested in working from home.  Our directory should be online shortly which will provide a one-stop page where you can find the work at home opportunity that is right for you.

There are many scams out there that prey on those of us looking for work at home opportunities.  We plan on offering only legitimate work at home jobs and opportunities.

What’s the difference between a work at home job and work at home business?

A work at home job is an opportunity in which you are employed through a company to perform a certain task at home.  A work at home business is a venture in which you own and run out of your home.  Both have their pros and cons.

Note that con artists exist for both areas.  This is where you need to be extremely careful.  The first rule of thumb is NEVER PAY FOR WORK AT HOME JOBS.  This cannot be stressed enough.  Legitimate work at home jobs do not charge fees to get started. 

This does not apply to work at home opportunities.  You will have to pay something out of pocket to start your own business.  You just need to invistigate weather the up-front fees are legitimate or not.  One way to invistigate is to search for the business in question using a search engine or an authority message forum such as WAHM.Com.

Althought there are many offline jobs and opportunities, we will focus on the online ones in our resources.  Anything that is done off-line can be done online cheaper and with better results.
