Effective and Easy Home Exercises for Moms

There are so many tasks moms have to do every single day – from waking up early to prepare what your family needs to put the kids to bed at night. Most times, us moms don’t really have the time to go to the gym and do some workouts to stay fit.

 

Still, working out is important, not just because you want to maintain a stronger, better physique – working out can also help you stay healthy. And as a mom, you have to take care of your health so you can take care of your family.

 

If you can’t find the time to go all the way to the gym, you can try some effective and easy home exercises so you don’t have to go anywhere else just to be fit.

 

Jumping or running in place. Some moms don’t have spare time to run outside or don’t have a treadmill to run indoors, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t do any exercise comparable to running. You can run or jump in the same spot for just five minutes a day. To make it even more effective, bring your knee up high, up to your chest with every step.

 

Running up and down the stairs. It may sound silly, but the gravitational pull will help you burn calories even faster. Stair running is excellent at toning your muscles.

 

Doing squats. Squats are great for strengthening both your upper and lower body. What makes doing squats even better is that you don’t need any equipment to be able to do this exercise. Simply stand straight, put your legs apart, about as wide as your hips. Plant your feet firmly to the ground and put both your arms forward until they are perpendicular to your torso. Then lower your body slowly by bending your knees, go as low as you can go and then slowly stand up again. Repeat for around 10 to 15 times.
