It can be hard at times for a new mom to transition from being a working mom to a stay-at-home mom. Many times after the baby is born and everything goes back to normal, the new mom will feel a bit lost. This is common because your life has changed in so many ways in such a short amount of time. If you are being to feel like you are overwhelmed and discourage, then take a quick break to regroup and get your thoughts together. Personal time is one of the best ways to remember the things are the most important to you.
New moms may find that it is difficult to separate yourself from your new baby. This is not a literal term, I mean for you to define yourself as something other than a mom. It is important that you remember who you are outside of being a parent. Are you an athlete? Are you a designer? These are the kinds of things that will help you separate who or what you are. You want to know that there is more to you than just a mom, but there is nothing wrong with just being a mom if that is what you have desire to be.
It can also be a good thing if you have something outside of the home that can help remind yourself that you can be both a mom and a career woman. Finding something that interest you can really have an impact on your own self worth, but remember it only matters what your opinion of yourself is, not someone else’s. You are the only one who can determine yourself worth.

It’s that time of year again when the summer is winding down, and the kids are all heading back to school. Everyone is getting ready at the same time so that they make it school on time. Moms are making sure that everyone is fed before they walk out the door to catch the bus. No more sleeping in until ten. The kids are complaining about going to be too early, and how they are not tired yet. These are all the things that you have to look forward to as a new school years is about to begin.
The great thing about being a stay at home mom is that you lose some of your responsibility when the school year starts. When your kids return to school, you don’t have to have lunch ready for all them, or you don’t have to fit about being quite during certain times of the day. You are free to do your work without a lot of interruptions.
I know that most often there will still be at least one kid at home during the day, but one is a lot easier to handle than two or three. You won’t have someone constantly fighting with each other. There will be no more fights about sharing who had it first all day long. Saying goodbye to summer for moms is not always a bad thing.

If you are a stay at home mom or a work at home mom, then you know how difficult it can be to get anything done at home with fighting children. You constantly have to break up fights and make them get along. You do not have a lot of time to get work done. All the screaming can be very nerve racking. You just cannot seem to get any peace and quiet. This can make your entire home life extremely stressful.
Depending on the age of your children will really have an impact on how often they will fight with each other. Sharing is one of the main problems around my house. My oldest does not want to share because she is afraid her stuff will get torn up. It is not that she is so selfish, but she really values her things. It makes it really hard. The best thing I can do is to try to explain to the others how important that particular item is to their sister so that they will learn how to treat it appropriately.
One of the things that I do around my house to help keep the fights to a minimum is having an area that is for each child. If your children have some small space that is just for them, then they can go to this areas without anyone else bothering them. This means that the others are not allowed in this space without permission. It really does help keep the fighting down especially when they all go to their own space.

Every woman knows that there is an ongoing war between the working mom and stay-at-home mom. The war has gone on for years as more and more woman jumped into the workforce. No matter what position you hold, there is always going to be someone to judge you. The whole argument is about who is doing the best thing for their children and family.
Many feel that a woman should stay home and take care of her family. She should not be out there trying to earn the money that her husband should be getting. Her only place is to take care of the home and kids. She should make sure that the house is cleaned every day and dinner is served at 5:00.
The other end of the scale is that a woman that stays home is just being lazy. She just does not want to get a job and she uses her children as an excuse. A lot of people feel that staying home is the easy way out. That all you do is sit around and do nothing all day long when she could be earning money for her family to give them a better life.
I have found that there is no middle ground for these extreme beliefs. I often wonder why is that it matters what other people choose is best for their family. How does anyone else know what the other family needs? They do not live the life of the other woman. Should a woman stay home if it makes her and her family unhappy or puts financial pressure on them just to please the world around them? I have found that many of the people that criticize other moms are the ones that are not happy with the choices that they made for themselves.

Work at
home moms learn by trial and error. It is a challenge to take care for the kids
and moms who home school have other things on their plates besides work. Home
schooling moms are becoming more popular. These moms teach their children
during certain hours and work during others. They have to plan the class for
the day while keeping clients happy. They also take care for the home and
prepare meals. Most are lucky to have a partner or spouse to help with the
chores.
Why are
these work at home moms so special? They are special because they are teaching
their children an education, but also teaching them that you also have to work
for a living. Both the parents and the children benefit by seeing what each
other does. When you think about moms that home school, you never think about
how they can do this and work. Most are work at home moms just like you and me
except they take on the responsibility of teaching their children a good
education.
These
moms can be an inspiration to all of us who work at home and never seem to find
time to get everything done. They manage their time wisely and succeed at work
and as a teacher. Another thing some home school moms will tell you is that it
is easier to take vacations or travel because the classroom comes along with
them and so does their work. They do have the life, however they work hard to
keep their families happy and secure.
